Steamed Chocolate Pudding
Tried by: Memy
I added just a touch more cocoa and was a tad generous with the sodas and made it with reconstituted dried milk. I steamed it gently for two hours before tuning it out. It turned out somewhat less sweet than today's palate is used to. It was light and fluffy and very nice. The recipe makes 6 rather generous helpings. I served mine with Birds custard and a cuppa tea. Next time, I might omit the cocoa and instead add cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. A few raisins or currants would also be happy in this pud.
