A healthy way to start the day


Making and cooking it
  1. Place the porridge oats into a pan with the milk and apple juice; cook over a high heat, stirring all the time
  2. When the porridge starts to thicken, turn the heat down and stir in the raisins  
  3. Carry on stirring while it cooks, for about 3 minutes
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the grated apple
  5. Pour into bowls and sprinkle with cinnamon
  6. Serve with a splash of cold milk if you want
