Pear Chutney

Making and cooking it
  1. Gently melt the butter in a saucepan
  2. Add the vinegar and honey, stirring lots
  3. Add the pears and cook gently for 7-10 minutes, the mixture will become thick. Stir regularly to stop burning
  4. Allow to stand for a few minutes then pour into a bowl or jar
  5. Allow to cool before storing in the fridge. (Will keep for about 1 month in a sterilised jar with a lid in the fridge)
