à la grecque is French for "in the Greek style," usually talking about vegetables (such as mushrooms and artichokes) and herbs cooked in olive oil and lemon juice and served cold as an appetizer.

Ingredients

Making and cooking it
  1. Wipe or wash the mushrooms. Leave them whole if they are small, otherwise cut them into halves or quarters
  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil then gently fry the mushrooms. Add the garlic
  3. Pour in the passata and lemon juice. Add all the herbs, salt, pepper and sugar and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occassionally
  4. Pour into a bowl and chill in the fridge
  5. Serve the mushrooms cold in their sauce
