Gooey Chocolate Brownie

Comments: Care is needed when melting chocolate over the hot water and removing it, as well as with the oven.

It is a good idea to prepare the baking tray, when you put the oven on and whilst the chocolate is melting. 


Making and cooking it
  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (325°F) gas 3
  2. Put the butter and chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Make sure the bottom of the bowl is not touching the water
  3. When melted, take from the heat and add the sugar to the mixture and stir thoroughly
  4. Afterwards add the flour and mix carefully
  5. Next, add the eggs into the mixture and stir until combined
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased and lined baking tray and smooth out
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes until flaky on top and soft and gooey inside
  8. Cool completely before slicing and serving
