Pesto Puffs

This is a simple recipe with a lot of flavour. You could make the filling in advance and keep it in the fridge to spread just before your friends arrive.

Ingredients

Making and cooking it
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 220 C OR 425 F, gas mark 7
  2. Roll the pastry on a lightly floured surface to a 25x20.5 cm rectangle
  3. In a bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients adding tbs of water to soften the paste
  4. Spread the paste over the pastry
  5. Roll the pastry lengthways to make a long sausage shape
  6. Cut the pastry into 12 and place onto a baking sheet, keep them spaced apart
  7. Bake for 12 minutes and serve warm
