Healthy Beef Burgers

Beef burgers are simple and easy to make. Our version contains less fat than the ones you might eat out. Plus they are very tasty. Why not give them a try, you may never want another take-away burger again?


Making and cooking it
  1. Dry fry the onions, util soft
  2. Add the lean mince and onions into the mixing bowl
  3. Add the herbs
  4. Mix together well
  5. Prepare the salad items, if you haven't already
  6. Divide the mixture into 4-6 portions depending on the size you want your burgers to be
  7. One at a time, push each portion into the food ring. Press down well to make your burger shape. You need to be firm so the burger doesn't break up when you cook it
  8. Fry the burgers on a medium heat, turning from time to time, don't add oil you shouldn't need it. You will know they are done when there is no red left in the centre of the burger
  9. Remove from the burgers and drain on kitchen roll
  10. Assemble the burgers on plates in the buns with plenty of salad and sauce of your choice
  11. Add the rest of the salad to the plates as a side salad. Serve while the burgers are hot
