This is a mild, fruity curry. Delicious with rice, naan and salad. Try adding a little more curry powder, for a hotter dish.

Ingredients

Making and cooking it
  1. Prepare the fruit and vegetables
  2. With a clean knife on a fresh chopping board, dice the beef
  3. In a saucepan, cook the onion and garlic in the oil until the onions are soft
  4. Add the meat and cook until it has browned 
  5. Stir in the apple, sultanas, curry powder, ginger and tomato puree
  6. Pour in the water, stir
  7. Bring to the boil, then simmer and cover to cook for about 30 minutes.
