Making a scone base for a pizza can be a great timesaver. The base texture is softer than a bread base but works well. This is a good recipe for pizza in a hurry.

Scone Base


Making and cooking it
  1. Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl
  2. Rub in the margerine
  3. Pour in the milk and mix it
  4. Gather all of the mixture into a ball
  5. Roll out the ball with a rolling pin to make the pizza base
  6. Turn up the edges
  7. Spread the tomato pizza sauce all over the pizza base
  8. Add optional toppings to your pizza
  9. Place in the oven for between 10 - 15mins at around 200C*
