A simple Burns Night recipe. Robert Burns was a famous 18th century Scottish poet. Each year, on 25th January, Scots all over the world celebrate his birthday.

The celebrations can vary from a huge dinner with music, speeches and lots of food to a quiet night of poetry reading.


Ingredients

Making and cooking it
  1. Toast the oatmeal in a frying pan on a high heat until lightly brown
  2. Blend the raspberries in a liquidiser until smooth
  3. Whisk the cream to a soft consistency 
  4. Mix in the oatmeal and honey
  5. Fold in the raspberries
  6. Serve in glass bowls and decorate with honey and fresh raspberries
