wat r u suppose to do with the cheese r u suppose to mix it in with the pasta or melt it????/plz help. In this version you put some of the drained pasta in an oven proof dish, sprinkle on some grated cheese, add a bit more pasta, add more cheese and so on until the pasta is all in, making sure you save some cheese to sprinkle on the top. As the dish heats the cheese melts in layers. More modern recipes often suggest you make a cheese sauce and then pour it over the pasta. If you mix most of the cheese into the pasta, put it in the dish, add cheese on top and bake, the recipe still works, you just don't get the layers. Hope this helps. The Cookit Team.

Is it hard to make? This is a very simple version of macaroni cheese, you don't even have to make a cheese sauce. It is a good one for younger or less experienced cooks. The Cookit Team
