This recipe is very popular in Austria. It is usually served as a side dish and can be eaten with any main course. The caraway seeds help your body to digest the cabbage more easily.
  • ½ a white cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 45ml (3 tablespoons) of white wine vinegar
  • 90ml (6 tablespoons) of olive oil
  • a pinch of salt and pepper (white pepper is best for this recipe if you have it)
  • some caraway seeds
  • Sharp Knife
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Wooden Spoon

1. Slice the cabbage and the onion as thinly as you can
2. Put everything in a bowl and mix it all together really well
3. That's it! (it is even better if you leave it in the fridge for about an hour before you eat it)
