A healthy pizza alternative that is made with wholemeal bread.
Ingredients
  • 1 round large wholemeal bread roll, sliced in half
  • 1 small carton of passata

Various toppings 

  • mozzarella cheese, sliced or grated
  • sliced tomatoes
  • sliced mushrooms
  • ham, cubed
  • pineapple pieces
  • peppers, sliced
  • sweetcorn
  • olives
  • onions slice
  • cooked spinach
  • dried oregano
Equipment
  • Spoon
  • Knife
  • Baking Tray
  • Serving Plate
Making and cooking it

  1. Lightly toast the underside of the rolls under a hot grill
  2. On the un-toasted side, spoon on enough passata to cover each roll generously
  3. Next, add your cheese
  4. Then, using any ingredients from the list of toppings, make a funny face
  5. Place into a hot oven 200°C/400°f/Gas Mark 6 for approx 12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling
  6. Serve on a plate with grated carrot or shredded lettuce for hair!
