Salmon and Avocado Wraps

  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled, halved and stoned
  • 5 medium-sized tortilla wraps
  • pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
  • 5 thin slices of smoked salmon (or enough to cover each tortilla)

  • Food processor/Blender
  • Knife
  • Cling Film
Making and cooking it
Always wash your hands before preparing food Always wash your hands before preparing food.

1) Place the peeled, stoned avocado halves in a food processor, and pulse to a consistency just creamy enough so u can spread it on the tortilla wraps. (If u do not have a food processor, mash the avocado halves with a fork)
2) Place a tortilla wrap on a clean work surface. Spread it with some avocado then sprinkle with pepper and then the chives
3) Put a layer of smoked salmon on top. Arrange the salmon slices so they overlap slightly
4) Tightly roll up the tortilla wrap and tuck in the ends
5) Wrap it in cling film and refrigerate until ready to serve. (This will keep the shape of the rolled tortilla wrap)
6) Repeat with the rest of the wraps
7) When you are ready to serve them, cut the rolled tortilla wraps into three slices and then remove the cling film
