Ingredients
- 250g (10oz) low fat cheddar
- 225g (9oz) tin of pineapple rings in its own juice (not syrup)
- 1 large orange
- cocktail sticks
Equipment
- Knife
- Chopping Board
- Cocktail Sticks
- Plate
Making and cooking it

1. Carefully cut the cheese into bite size cubes
2. Cut the pineapple into eighths
3. Cut the orange in half and place, flat side down, onto a plate
4. Thread a piece of pineapple and a cube of cheese onto a cocktail stick
5. Push the filled cocktail stick into the orange and repeat to make a hedgehog

The hedgehog of pineapple and and cheese is so good. What else can I put on toothpicks that's easy and tasty? You might try mini cooked sausages, pickled silverskin onions, pieces of pepper, celery and pear. It can be nice to make up combinations you really enjoy. The Cookit Team. |
