Ingredients
  • 7.5 oz self raising flour
  • 7.5 oz sugar
  • 7.5 oz margarine
  • 4 large eggs
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pot double cream - filling
  • 3 tablespoons rasberry / strawberry Jam - filling
  • sprinkle icing sugar

  • 2 x 7" Baking tins - Liners optional
  • Electric whisk
  • Scales
  • Oven
  • Wire rack
Making and cooking it
Always wash your hands before preparing food Always wash your hands before preparing food.

  1. Heat oven 180c or Gas mark 4
  2. In a bowl put flour, eggs, baking powder, sugar, margarine
  3. Whisk on full speed, until mixture falls from spoon
  4. Divide mixture between 2 x tins
  5. Put tins in center of oven for 30mins
  6. Pour double cream in a bowl - whisk until peaking
  7. When cooked, take out of tins and let cool
  8. Add Jam, Cream, Icing sugar
  9. Enjoy
