Ingredients
- 75g (3oz) butter
- 30ml (2 tablespoons) sunflower seeds
- 25g (1oz) dessicated coconut
- 75g (3oz)brown sugar
- 30ml (2 tablespoons) golden syrup
- ½ tsp salt
- 125g (5oz) porridge oats
- 35g (1½oz) chopped dried apple
- 35g (1½oz) chopped dried apricots
- 25g (1oz) dried cranberries
- 25g (1oz) pumpkin seeds
Equipment
- Weighing Scales
- Tablespoon
- Saucepan
- Wooden Spoon
- Mixing Bowl
- Greaseproof Paper
- Square Baking Tin
- Knife
- Airtight Container
Making and cooking it

- Pre-heat oven to 180°C/350°f/Gas Mark 4
- Melt together the butter, sugar, golden syrup and salt in a saucepan
- Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl and stir in the melted butter and syrup mixture
- Line and grease a 20cm (8") square baking tin
- Put the mixture into the tin and press down to spread evenly
- Put in oven for approximately 20 mins
- When cooked, mark it into bars while it is still hot, allow to cool
- Cut into bars and store in an airtight container

lol these do NOT keep...... made some on Saturday and they were eaten by Sunday, even after hiding the tin. DELICIOUS, crunchy and sticky |
