Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1 apple, cored and sliced
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
- 250g beef
- 15ml oil
- 25g sultanas
- 5ml curry powder
- 10ml ginger powder
- 350ml water
- 15ml tomato puree
Healthier version
Use lean beef. Add extra vegetables, such as, peas, mushrooms and peppers too.

- Kitchen knife
- Chopping board
- Garlic crusher
- Saucepan
- Wooden spoon
- Measuring jug
Making and cooking it

- Prepare the fruit and vegetables
- With a clean knife on a fresh chopping board, dice the beef
- In a saucepan, cook the onion and garlic in the oil until the onions are soft
- Add the meat and cook until it has browned
- Stir in the apple, sultanas, curry powder, ginger and tomato puree
- Pour in the water, stir
- Bring to the boil, then simmer and cover to cook for about 30 minutes.

Hi just cooked the beef curry recipe with my girlfriend and both loved every mouthful we both agreed that it is the best we have ever tasted specially speaking for myself it was even better than my mums curry she used to make for my dad 30 years ago, I would recommend anyone to try it ! |
