About this recipe
Healthiness : (156 votes)

An introduction to the ingredients that may have been found in the cooking area of the home of Neolithic people living around 5,000 years ago.

Many of the items were still gathered from the surrounding countryside but a move to settled living and farming also saw the domestication of animals and the availability of milk and cheese from sheep and goats.

For images of the cooking process see our Neolithic Ingredients Picture Gallery.
