This is a vegetarian recipe

  • 1 pitta bread
  • 15ml (1 tablespoon) cream cheese
  • half a slice cheese
  • 2 grapes
  • 1 small carrot
  • 2 slices cucumber
  • 1 cherry tomato
  • 1 celery
  • 1 boiled egg
  • mayonnaise
  • Knife
  • Grater
  • Serving Plate
Making and cooking it

  1. Slice the pitta bread but not all the way
  2. Spread cream cheese inside the pitta bread
  3. Place the slice of cheese inside the pitta bread, leave it hanging out a bit so that it looks like a tongue
  4. Slice the grapes into thin circles and place around the inside of the bread so that it looks like teeth
  5. Grate carrot over the cheese
  6. Cut two pieces of celery two cm long and place behind pitta bread. Place two slices of cucumber in front of the celery
  7. Cut the tomato into two halves and place one on each of the cucumber
  8. Place spring onion to look like hair and cut celery into two bits for antennae
  9. Cut the end of an egg. Ask for an adult to help cut out the nostrils. Place the egg in front of the cucumber on the pitta bread
  10. Squirt mayonnaise to look like bogey on top of the egg
