This is a vegetarian recipe

  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 2 organic wholemeal pitta bread
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1 cherry tomato
  • 2 grapes
  • some cress
  • some cheese spread & mayonnaise
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • 1 slice of cucumber and pepper
  • 1 spring onion
  • Knife
  • Serving Plate
Making and cooking it
Always wash your hands before preparing food Always wash your hands before preparing food.

  1. Crack and peel hard boiled egg
  2. Spread cream cheese on one pitta bread
  3. Cut pepper in half to make the ears
  4. Cut grape in half to make the eyes
  5. Add cress as eyebrows
  6. Slice egg and use one slice as a mouth
  7. Cut one celery stick into four and position as arms and legs

  8. Using the pitta bread as a stencil, cut the cheese slice to size
  9. Cut the tomato in half and use some cream cheese to stick eyes on
  10. Cut small cheese circles to use as pupils
  11. Cut cucumber semicircles as eyebrows
  12. Use another egg slice as the mouth
  13. Add a whole grape as a nose
  14. Use the top of the spring onion as hair

    Once Mr & Mrs Smith are on the plate, decorate the edge of the plate with some mayonnaise
