A healthy and quick snack which could be adapted to suit a variety of likes and dislikes.
  • ¼ pot hummus
  • 5 slices cucumber
  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • handful lettuce
  • 1 slice cheese
  • handful grapes
  • 2 mini wholemeal pitta breads
  • 2 slices red pepper
  • Knife
  • Serving Plate
Making and cooking it
Always wash your hands before preparing food Always wash your hands before preparing food.

  1. Cut your slice of cheese in half and place each half on a pitta
  2. Slice your cucumber into a pattern such as a star, keep the offcuts
  3. Slice each grape in half
  4. Place the 2 slices of pepper onto one of the pittas on top of the cheese
  5. Spread the hummus over the cheese on the other pitta
  6. Place your cucumber shapes onto the hummus
  7. Add some of the lettuce on top of the cucumber
  8. Place the pitta with the pepper on top of the other pitta to create your burger
  9. Now mix your grape halves, lettuce and off cuts of cucumber together to make a side salad
  10. Cut each tomato in half and create a pattern on your plate
