This is a Roman recipe. This recipe attempts to make cucumbers easier to digest. (We prefer raw cucumber as this recipe is sweet and slimey!)


Making and cooking it
  1. Peel the cucumber
  2. Chop into large slices
  3. Add these to a pan with the vinegar, olive oil and honey
  4. Gently cook the cucumber until soft, shake the pan ocassionally to make sure it's not sticking
  5. Serve as a hot side dish
